Remedies against hangovers
The typical holidays and excesses related to this event are close. Who never had a drink, or 2 during the holidays?
In these moments of conviviality, another drink and you wake up with a huge hangover. Here are some remedies for you to get rid of the last evening’s shenanigans of and continue to enjoy your vacation, your family or your trip.
To begin, we must specify that prevention is better than cure, so if you do not want to suffer a bad morning, it is better not to get carried away by the party the night before.
If unfortunately you are already experiencing the discomfort with hangover, we offer some remedies.
Drink water and isotonic drinks. The best thing for your body in these cases is hydration and mineral salts. These isotonic drinks will help you give you what your body needs.
Drink ginger tea. Drinking tea will help you to be hydrated. Thanks to the components of ginger, it will help calm the irritations of the stomach and eliminate toxins.
Healthy food. Although sometimes the body asks you for junk food, you should not listen. You probably don’t feel like cooking, but now more than ever, your body needs good and healthy ingredients and no junk food. Many say they need to eat fries or hamburgers to survive their hangovers, but that’s not true. In fact, your body needs the mineral salts that you lost the night before because of excessive alcohol or ceaseless visits to the bathroom.
Avoid coffee. Many people associate coffee with a good wake-up call, but we do not recommend drinking coffee if you want to remove the effects of the hangover because it is an excellent gastric stimulant and not what your body requires when suffering of hangover.
Paracetamol and ibuprofen. You must be very careful about self-medication. In addition, acetaminophen must be metabolized by the liver, which will require more effort from your body. Ibuprofen can relieve some of your headaches, but it can also make you sick.
Orange juice or lemon juice. Indeed, juice is a good choice to help eliminate and absorb the alcohol you still have in the body, in addition to moisturizing and nourishing after a night of celebration.
If you want to enjoy all your holidays, without having to worry about a hangover, we advise you to drink in moderation and avoid excesses.
